2006 Gibson Jimi Hendrix Psychedelic Flying V, Set-Up Lefty!
This is a limited edition “Inspired By” Series Gibson Custom Shop Jimi Hendrix Flying V from 2006. It is #230 out of a limited run of only 300. The guitar is currently set-up lefty, so it would appeal to the left handed player who wants to experience(pun intended, no problem) the guitar as Jimi would have played it. The original nut was converted to lefty, and I flipped the bridge around. For the righties, converting back to right handed would be that simple.
1998 Gibson Historic 1957 Les Paul Custom, Investment Grade!
This is one of the cleanest guitars I've ever gotten in: a one-owner 1998 Gibson Historic 1957/R7 Les Paul Custom with 3 Pickups, 100% original, just a few hours of playtime since 1998(and it looks it), just a few light scratches on the back, only a few scratches on the pickguard, no fret wear(frets are regular size, not the low frets like the vintage). This guitar is an amazing example of a Black Beauty Les Paul Custom!

1979 Fender Strat, Bargain Priced with Some Issues
This is a lefty Strat from 1979 which has a lot of potential, and is priced accordingly. The main concern is the finish: During the late 70s, Fender was asked by the EPA to modify its spraying installation and to find a less polluting finishing method. Fender decided to try water-based finishes, which could be electrostatically sprayed on bodies. The new set-up was first used in 1979, but it soon turned into a disaster as finishes were prone to cracking, bubbling...

1964 LEFTY Fender Jazzmaster, Blonde Finish, Mint with OHSC!!
This guitar has been inspected by British luthier Clive Brown, who comments:
"The 1964 Fender Jazzmaster in Blonde is the cleanest Jazzmaster I have seen, on inspecting the guitar I would advise not to remove the pickguard or neck for fear of the guard cracking because of the very tight fit or the neck causing the finish to chip. Anyone who knows what they are looking at should be able to tell that this guitar is as near to new condition as any 1964 guitar can be. A left handed ash bodied Blonde Jazzmaster in this condition including white tolex case is one of the rarest Jazzmasters available."

2014 Gibson Historic 1959 Les Paul, Supremely Figured Top!
This is a special order guitar from Gibson’s Made to Measure Program, based on a knockout maple blank that only required one look to place an immediate order. Broad tiger flame that reminds me of the great tops from the mid-90s! Very active flame with maximum movement which highlights a super vibrant top from any angle; you can’t say that about too many tops-very rarely do you see a top as dynamic as this one!

1950 Martin 000-21L, Original & Rare Factory Lefty 1950s Martin!
The 000-21 was a model that Martin produced with the 1.68 nut from 1939-1959. Martin only built 97 000-21s in 1950. The production level pales in comparison to the quantity of D-28s built that same year(475), so that gives you a good idea of just how rare the 000-21s are. To find one ordered as a factory left handed model is unheard of!

1997 Fender Masterbuilt Fred Stuart Tele, Great Story/Provenance!
The original owner had Fender build him a Tele like the one he put together in the early 80s, which included a righty 54 Strat neck(later swapped out for a righty 66 Tele neck). The 80s Tele was signed by President Reagan, and is known as the The Gipper Guitar (there was an article about this guitar written by Willie Moseley in the February 2005 Vintage Guitar Magazine).
2007 Fender Custom Shop Tele with RS Guitarworks Upgrade!
Left Handed 2007 Fender Closet Classic (1961 Reissue) Tele with Upgraded Features from RS Guitarworks! The Tele was originally special ordered from Fender with the darker Dakota Red finish; the original owner preferred a lighter red, somewhere between Fiesta Red and Dakota Red (Ducco Red as mentioned on page 38 of A.R. Ducchosoir’s Tele Book). It was sent to the fine guitar shop at RS Guitarworks and they refinished the Tele in the preferred lighter red. It’s a very nice red color, closer to Fiesta than Dakota IMO.

2014 “Hand Picked” 1959 Historic Les Paul, Dirty Lemon Fade
2014 has been an especially tough year for left handed Gibson Historic Les Pauls, with very few offerings. This “Hand Picked” monster top in Dirty Lemon Fade would be an amazing find in any year, let alone in the lefty deprived 2014:

1974 Fender Strat, Stag Pole, 100% Original with OHSC, Near Mint!
Left Handed 1974 Fender Strat, Sunburst Finish, Maple Neck, Staggered Pole Pieces, OHSC with trem bar, Near Mint one-owner guitar. Very nice vintage lefty Strat, last of the stag pole Strats, this guitar was not played much at all as evidenced by the lack of fret wear; in fact, the neck looks new!
1958 Gibson ES-175D, 100% Original with OHSC, Near Mint!
This is an unmolested, unharvested time capsule Lefty 1958 ES-175D! Late 50s/Early 60s original ES-175s with PAFs are getting impossible to find, as the poachers have virtually decimated these guitars for their prized electronics, especially the PAFs. To find a Left Handed example, particularly in this pristine condition, takes the definition of “Rare” to a completely higher and unheard of level!
1969-1970 Gibson SG Special, EXC with OHSC, Amazing SG!
Lefty 1969-70 Gibson SG Special, transitional guitar from late 1969-early 1970: NO Made in U.S.A. stamp, mini volute, pots date 137 7010. Nice deep cherry finish, has some dings and nicks that you would expect from 44 year-old guitar, some worming on the back, but EXC overall condition.

LEFTY 1958 Fender Strat, 100% Original with OHSC, Amazing Strat!
I’ve been thinking of the appropriate adjective to describe this 1958 Strat. I haven’t been able to come up with just one word, so I’ll just call it
! This is simply one of the best Strats I’ve ever had the privilege of playing, including my favorite 1961 Slab Strat. I didn’t think that I would find one that rivaled the 61, but this guitar is the one!
Lefty 1962 Gibson ES-345TD with PAFs, EXC Original Condition!

1971 Gibson ES-150DC with late 1960s Features, EXC & 100% Original!
This is just not a vintage Gibson guitar that you see in lefty. In fact, I have never seen a left handed ES-150DC, and you may never see another one ever again! It’s also in the seldom seen Cherry Red finish-most of these were Walnut or Natural.

1998 Gibson Lefty R7/R9 Les Paul Conversion, Lemonburst
While righties have so many choices regarding Les Pauls, lefties rarely have the opportunity to acquire a truly special Les Paul that has been made to look like a real 59 Burst. Well, this guitar absolutely looks like a real worn 1959 left handed Les Paul. There are only about 4 true lefty Les Paul Bursts, with prices in excess of $200K, so here is a faithful reproduction that has been completed in painstaking detail.

2013 Gibson Elliot Easton “Tikibird” Firebird, Brand New!
As a member of Boston hit-makers The Cars, and a consummate musician in his own right, Elliot Easton has consistently bridged the gap between chart success and innovative, alternative guitar playing. From early Cars singles like “Just What I Needed” and “My Best Friend’s Girl,” to 1981’s “Shake It Up” (the band’s first Top 10 hit), Elliot’s creative, often quirky and frenetic riffs provided the propulsion to ...

1985 Left-Handed Gibson ES-335 Dot Reissue, Sunburst Finish
1985 Lefty Gibson ES-335 Dot, Sunburst Finish, EXC Condition with Hard Shell case. The early Dot Reissue ES-335s(1981-1985) are hard to find in Lefty! This one is mostly original: has a Tim Shaw bridge PUP, 10.46K, ink stamped 372-283. The neck PUP is a zebra and may be a Tim Shaw, with 7.45K, but has no ink stamp, so it could possibly be a 490 Gibson PUP.

LEFTY 1996 Fender Custom Shop 1958 Reissue Strat w/ OHSC
Left Handed 1996 Fender Custom Shop 1958 Reissue Strat, Guitar Center special limited run of 30; this is #22 of 30 and probably the only Lefty of the run. Really nice Strat with a beautiful Birds-Eye maple neck, including sides and top. This reminds me of my 1999 Custom Shop Strat, but it's actually nicer because the Birds-Eye figure shows beautifully on the maple fretboard, whereas my 99 has a rosewood fingerboard.
Lefty 2013 Rocketfire M1926 Strat-Style Guitar, OHSC/COA, New!
Another amazing Strat-style guitar from Nick at Rocketfire Guitars! This is my 4th one, and was ordered March 2012. Inspired by Ike Turner’s 1961 Sonic Blue Strat, this is a killer Strat that has the Tone and Look! This destroys the Fender Custom Shop Strats I’ve owned over the years, and if you’re looking for a new lefty Strat, forget the others- you absolutely must own this guitar!
